Jay Randolph, a former Cardinal baseball broadcaster, has been asked to rejoin the Cardinals tv broadcast team (Rick Horton will be his partner) to do the twenty-game package that KSDK, channel 5, will be picking up next season. I have not heard this broadcaster call a sporting event, but this move by the Cardinals and the tv station is not well liked by many.
Wayne Hagen, the broadcaster that worked at the station that had the Cardinals (KPLR channel 11) before KSDK channel 5 picked up broadcasting rites of a 20-game package, is going to actively pursue a full-time professional baseball broadcasting job elsewhere. I will keep everyone updated on these changes.
